John, thanks for obliging with more pictures of the Bentley. Looks like Mr. Momen's RR 25/30 (post #8) has a "Janjira" plate too.

Small correction Sunil. The one he had on show at the Cartier event is the other 25/30 RR he owns, a 2 door Vandan Plas coupe. Mr. Momen has two RR's and the Bentley. His extended family also owns a PIII saloon (CPO100 if I recall right)

PS Someone could correct me on this but I vaguely remember him mentioning a Corniche convertible too? I could be getting mixed up on this one though.

I am sorry .YES its the other Rolls Royce and its Dark Blue in Colour. As much I know the car was sent of to England for a complete Grounds-up-restoration quite a few years ago.It had appeared for the Kolkata Statesman Rally once many years ago.

I take my cars seriously and call them as I see them!!!

I have no idea if this was ever ever an authentic rad mascot and will try and speak to the collector, Gotham Mukherjee here in Calcutta, however it seems to me that most people call their cars as she, and when you have a hotty, why not put her up front and center!

This an exceptional restoration of a 1924 Fiat by Shashi Kanoria that later won the Statesman Trophy for the best restored car in Class.

His 1919 Citron and 1947 MG TC also shown at the Tolly Car Show are of a comparable standard.

Yes, but I doubt if it's original to the car!
