Default Sanjay's Stable

Here is the 1932 Ford V8 that started it all!

Detailed inside and out, first for the Tolly Show and again for the Statesman Rally two week later. The new leather interior helped to transform it once again and I think for the last time.

Old Henry would have been very pleased!

Default Sanjay's Stable

This pristine 1947 Chevrolet Fleetmaster is another car that has been in the family since new and is Mrs. Ghosh's favorite car that she takes great pride in and works on it herself. Last year they found a fabric here in calcutta that when I saw it thought they had imported from the U.S. Wish I had taken interior shots.

Default Sanjay's Stable

Sanjay's pride and joy is this 1950 Cadillac, initially it was purchased from the scrap yard for the engine and running gear. Once home he decided to take up the challenge of restoring it and fortunately he has taken lots of before, during and after photos.

He considers this project to have been another milestone in developing his vision, skills and reputation. It runs as well as it looks and the comfort of the back seat is unbelievable!

Here is his big, beautiful 1947 Buick Roadmaster 8, sporting a new two color paint job and interior, comfortable and powerful.

Buick was building engines in 1899, developed the first over head cam engine and went into the car business in 1903, almost went bankrupt in 1904 and by 1908 was the largest manufacture of cars out producing Ford and Cadillac combined! He later became a major Line at General Motors.

Default Some other interesting cars

When I first met the Dey family with their parrots and sweet little dog at the Pet Show, being a serious bird lover I only talked about our pets and didn't think to mention my interest in cars. They raise Grey and Cockatoo parrots, the two entered in the Pet Show were raised by them and are so friendly.

Found out later that they had three cars all shown at the Statesman Rally and going through the Tolly Car show see two of them here. Both very well done up, cared for and detailed for the show.

A wonderful family for "All Seasons"
