The car in Harit's picture is apparently the Bhogilal car (in the museum) and it's identical to the Porbander car which is now in Bhavnagar. has the car in Bhavnagar been put back together? or is it still in a dismantled state?

There are about 3 to 4 of these pictures on ebay, probably Packard promotional pictures. There is one more with Miss Rosie, an actress of the 1930's with her Packard 120 in front of the Gateway.

There are three cars with solid disc wheels of the same era surviving but I don't this car survives unless some oldtimers can confirm otherwise

Thanks

Up until 1928 Packard had these drum headlights. Kasli doesn't Mr Bhogilal have a 28?

This is the photo with Miss Rosie, also known as Rose, she was a reknown actress in the 1930's. But nothing is known about her fate, you google and come back to posts on this thread. Anyone having Film India magazines of that time published by Baburao Patel will find plenty on her.

Cheers harit
