Hi all,

'need a pair of differential mounting bushes for Herald (they are the big-ish round rubber ones sans the metal sleeve, seen in this pic.:

TRIUMPH HERALD/VITESSE DIFFERENTIAL MOUNTING BUSH KIT on eBay (end time 21-May-10 18:41:46 BST)

If anyone could find them new, please get me a set ASAP!

Thanks!

'also need an engine tappet cover for Herald. Here's what it looks like:

Its a normal 124, most of the mechanical parts are available. The car body was in miserable shape, hence no cosmetics and interiors came out of the salvage.

I get a feeling this(the 124engine) is the same engine series as the padmini. can be used to create a souped up padmini since a motor swap might be easy. Alternatively a ne 118 body can be used as a donor for a 124 replica. obviosly that would be if someone doesnt need these parts for a 124. It'll b sad to see them go waste.

There are few parts available in Mumbai of a recently broken 1968-69 VW Bus...any one interested can PM me (serious folks only) - don't know the prices as yet but can ask. Believe most of the below to be standard and will fit Buses' from 65 to 73 types.

Some of the parts available are:

1) Transmission
2) Fuel Tank
3) Gear Shift stick
4) Fron and rear suspensions
5) Wheel rims
6) Glasses (no windshield)
7) Air Filter
8) Washer fluid bottle
9) Few handles etc

Anyone wanting anything specific can also PM will ask the guy if he has them. Will assist in transportation to fellow enthusiasts who are outside of Mumbai. Have seen a few of the above and they are all in decent condition and best part is they are original German. Came out of an unused Van which was garaged and owner being old decided to scrap it.

According to Mr. Govindan of Premier Land, there were two 124s in Bangy with company fitted NE engine which they maintained for several years.

Try Neimoellers in Germany they stock all possible parts for Mercedes, its a tiny part and should'nt cost a lot to have shipped from them.

their web site is as follows Niemöller
