Hi Everyone, I have just started restoring my 1976 Premier Padmini. The car has been in the family but she has not been used for the last 10 years but she is mostly complete.I would like to bring her back to as original as possible.Only earlier this year I had completed restoration of my 1966 Ambassador whose pictures are available in page 42 of the landmaster and ambassador picture gallery.I would like to complete this car also to similar standards and I need help from especially the Fiat Gurus as to where I could source spares, especially the rubber bee dings, front parking lamps, tail lamps and the bush kit and so on.I live in Coimbatore but I won't have a difficulty in procuring the spares from anyplace provided I have the address or telephone no.I would also very much appreciate if you guys advice as to what spares I should stock for the future.Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated. Came across this listing, thought it might be useful to someone, price as always is the case with classics spares, is exorbitant.

Hi,
Anybody has a pic of how trafficators are mounted on the landmaster? Inisde and Outside too. My landmasters trafficator slots are closed by the previous owner. Now I have bought a set of SF80 and managed to put them in position. My question is, is there any way to prevent rain/wash water from going into the B pillar from around the trafficator arms? Is there any packing kind of thing that is supposed to be there to prevent this?

Yes. Suitable for all 36hp engines (primarily 1954 - 60 and Std Bugs for a few more years after 1960).

If you currently have a later PICT series carb, it's possible that your accelerator guide tube (original p/no 111-198-002) has also been changed. So you *might* need to change that back as well.

The tires are super expensive, i remember picking up the same size for the 1950 Fiat Topolino for Rs. 13,000/- for set of 5, from Madhu's Enterprises last year. Agree they are getting rarer by the day.

I need the water pouch, please let me know about them

Hello all,

I am looking for nylon tyres size 6.70-15. I have two questions -
1. How this size is currently referred to?
2. Any ideas where one could obtain the same in Mumbai?
These were fitted in Dodge/Plymouth cars 1950-54.

I did find this size in the MRF product list branded as super miller. Would this be the same size?

Any help is appreciated. Many thanks.

Caddy.

Caddy,
Currently Nylon tyres are not seen much on cars these days. These are used for Light & heavy trucks only. My 118NE running on 5.6 13 will have an equivalent as 155 80 R13 from the radial tyre family. Similarly you should find some 185 or 195 80 R15 radial tyre. If you are too particular about the Nylon tyres you will only end up having light truck / Jeep / 407 /207 / or similar tyres. I guess the ride will be bumpy with such tyres. Have a word at any tyre shop. He might be knowing what is available in the market, because many times not all tyres shown on the website are available in the market.
