Sure Selva, will do so. Sidman is also making custom wheel covers with scooter company names on it. You can contact him and inquire about them.

Everyone ready for tomorrow's ride, I hope! For the Lambretta riders, the spare wheel covers with the Lambretta logo are ready, and can be picked up from me at the Rally.

Sidman, You could have started off from Airlines Hotel at least. Don't you think that junction is a bit crowded always.

Your ride seems to missed by just a decade, guruvE!

BTW, I don't think Priya was from Bajaj? I remember it was made by a Maharashtra Scooters ltd.? Incidentally, this was one of the "Lambretta-killers" from the 80s onwards!

You are right and wrong at the same time. See the quote below from the history of Maharashtra Scooters Ltd.:-
1975 - The (Maharashtra Scooters ltd) was incorporated on 11th June, at Pune. The Company was promoted by Western Maharashtra Development Corporation Ltd. a wholly owned company of the Government of Maharashtra and Bajaj Auto Ltd. The main objective of the company is of scooters under the trade name PRIYA.

- The company entered into a two agreements with Bajaj Auto Ltd., one for the preparation of the project report and another for know-how and assistance.

- The technical know-how agreement was to be in force for a period of 10 years from the date of commencement of operations or till the company achieved a total production of 3,00,000 scooters whichever is later. Under the agreement, Bajaj Auto Ltd., agreed to supply to the Company components at reasonable prices which was understood to be lower than the dealer prices for the said components in the replacement market.]
So "Priya" Scooters are practically made by both Bajaj & maharashtra Scooters Ltd.
