Default SPORTSCRAFT Rally Pictures, 20th Dec 2009

It has been a very eventfull and enjoyable day from Inorbit Mall, Vashi (Navi Mumbai) to Dukes Retreat, Lonavla with all the Vintage and Classic Cars, showing off their capabilities and their proud owners behind the wheels.

A well organised show with a lot of participants, who, I am sure will agree with me, for a Sunday morning well spent.

Many colourful cars in mint condition, cheerful group, yummy food and exotic location.

Let the pictures do the talking now.

The Lancia Flaminia is surely a show stopper and my second fav choice here followed by the Jag 2.5, what a remarkable restoration, any history on this car?

BTW what is that black car on the right of the second Roadmaster picture showing its rear.
The Alvis looked stunning, even with this unusual colour combination. No idea if period correct or not, but I loved it.

I think I got the name wrong, its a Speed 25. More here

1930 Alvis Speed 25 - British beefy

And more on Harit's Dodge here

1959 Chrysler Dodge Custom Royal hardtop coop

I think there was a feature on the Flaminia too, but I cant find it.

The black car near the Road Master is a 1948 Wolseley 12hp, a regular at these events.

I don't think anyone was left behind, but not 100% sure.

WOW !!! What a gorgeous collection of cars and what a fun thing to do !!

The Dodge Kingsway convertible is simply stunning. What an outstanding restoration. Gorgeous car, so stylish ! After the 41 Buick (Dinesh Lal?) I saw at Cartier this is the second car I am seeing finished so beautifully. The detailing is amazing. They almost seem like driven out of the showroom. There's some amazing talent in Bombay. Three cheers to the owners who lavished such amazing attention on their cars. And above all a big congrats to the people who worked on this car.

Since the gentleman is a TBHpian could someone persuade him to tell us the story of how he meticulously restored this Dodge?

Outstanding

I think the Alvis came from Mayurbhanj, I think she was earlier ORM regd. Not sure.

I had posted interior shots earlier in some other thread, but cannot find.
