Excellent shots, Mr. Jatti! A very marvellous turn-up indeed!

BTW, is it possible to recollect the number of the Black Lincoln? A relative of mine in Madras had a similar one back in the 50s and early 60s, MSP 3331. 'was just wondering if this by chance happens to be the same car!

awesome cars, nice pictures Jatti.
the cars are well guarded as seen from the pictures, which is very much a requirement for a rally.

Thank you for this feast.

That carriage should have been avoided in the expo; totally agree with its uniqueness, but we are showcasing horseless carts, right?

This is a very fitting display put up by the Heritage Motors club, suitably impressive for such a prestigious and international event. Please remeber that about 12 to 15 years ago automobiles including trucks did not have a show of their own but were a part of the Indian Engineering Trade Fair.

Some questions/comments:

The very first Fiat may not be a 1920 car, more likely after 1923.

Amphibian is fantastic, is she able to float? Though there are a couple of them still left in India, this may be the best restored.

The 1947 Chrysler has accessories to the hilt, all suitable, authentic and tasteful. All accessories cannot be seen, one should look at the car closer. She was an engineless filmwallah's car lying on his plot and rotting in Mumbai. What a resurrection!

Lincoln V12 is a long gone Mumbai car, lying in a garage in the suburbs. It went to Delhi via Nagpur.

What is the history of the NSU Export and the Wizzer? The NSU handle appears modern. And 1904?

The Ford Prefect is my favourite, it showcases what can be done with the cars recently posted by Vintageman. I am serious about this.

The Sleeman carriage also shows a very neglected segment of transport history, though some have started collecting them. Very nice, carriages needed such exposure.

After informing all of us on the forum that he is meeting Mr. Jatti at the display, it now seems from the above 2 quotes that Indrojit will not be visiting. Now we all know how disappointed many will be!

Cheers harit
