This has been a great thread to follow and a fest for the eyes. Some of the cars are real stunners.

That Jag MRH 6784 looks like its just come out of the showroom.

Please put up some more pics.

Also good to see the Mercedes of Dahanukar restored. I had seen it prior to restoration, and it was in shambles. Kudos.

Any side pictures of the black Studebaker? It has been mentioned as a Landaulette!

Also, what is the car parked next to the 1940 Chevy?

Beautiful photographs and reporting deky. I think this post should be set as a template, for covering vintage rallies on this forum (except, maybe the HP of cars).
Met Mr. Vikram Singh from Jaipur, a few days ago in Lucknow. Exchanged pleasantries and found him to be a knowledgeable and extremely cultured gentleman. May his tribe increase. It's now I have realised, what a wonderful collection he has.
Once again, my compliments on the coverage deky.

PS: Nit picking from next post.

What is noticable when seeing these pictures is the quality of restoration. Standards have highly improved to excellent. Now one should only be cautious that one does not over restore.
I hope that the cars go as well as they look, maybe someone will tell us about the event. Must have been a grand event.
Any feedback on prizes won?
Keep it up.

Cheers harit

That was a treat, deky. You've more than made up for my inability (and resulting disappointment) to attend the Rajputana Heritage event as I'd looked forward to, had recalcitrant last minute changes-in-plans not put paid to the same. And nicely presented too; thank you very much.

Unfortunate that you couldn't make it to the rally, but thanks very much for sharing these great photos with us.

Yup, it belongs to Nitin Dossa, and I think has Mysore and Bharatpur origins. I have always seen it with RJ plates since she debuted after restoration a few years ago.

That Jag also attended a rally in Pune some years ago, I had put up some pictures. See if you can dig them out, I can't!

I have a small querry, who was the judge/were the judges at this rally and who won a prize? I suggest that all have a hard look at the pictures of the cars shown, and then post which car you would have selected. Ofcourse there will be a limitation in that one cannot see the car live, only pictures.
I was very impressed with the Mercedes Limo.
And the answer to my question should not really surprise anyone.

Such a wonderful event, and then this.

Cheers harit

Took loads of pictures at the Jaipur event, the Show Stopper surely was Vikram Singh's Benz 290, and got a well deserved prize for the same.

The best restored cars in my opinion were Karl Benz's Mark V and The Dhanukar Benz (Prize).

Mr.Dossa's Bentley was present at the event - But a prize for that?
The Judges Car, judged by the Judge, but a Superb car.

More pictures coming up.
