Default Part 2

Some more pics, I could not take the front shots for some cars because of the crowd, there were too many people crowding around the cars, bit scary, they could have easily damaged or flicked some accessories

Hey nice photos Srisha and it seems you took too much pain clicking them.
Hope you have seen photos of the Whitfield event. It was nice as lots of open space was there.

We have similar Humber Super Snipe in Hyderabad which belongs to the Army.
Ironically the Humber in this Rally is also AP registered.

Yes, as you can see there were a lot of people crowding around the cars. I have some more pix, which I will post later, saving the best for the last....

I did see the whitefield event, very nice collection.

The Bangalore based Humber is a 7 seater car and hence will be on a longer wheel base. The army one looks to be a 5 seater.

cheers

Yes the Bangalore Humber is a Super Snipe Pullman which is the seven seater limo with a divider. There is a lot of aluminium in the body panels to keep its weight down.

Have you guys seen an identical Humber that belongs to the Khairtabad collector ? This car was fromt the Nizam's stable then sold to someone in Gujarat and was then brought back to Hyderabad.

The story is that a bomb was thrown at this car at one point by the Razakars

Another Humber seen in Wajid bhai's compound once, not seen after wards. Don't know where it now.

One more black Humber seen somewhere on internet plate No. starts with MYB.. which was in Bangalore.

Cheers!

The detailing on black Ford A, inspite of a few unsolicited bells and whistles, is commendable

Lovely 180 Ponton Mercedes. I especially like the chrome beauty rings on the wheels, which in my opinion look better than the full chrome caps on the 4 cylinder models. Wish he get the chrome trim fixed on the windshield seals. Also missing rear license plate lamps.

Regards
Prithvi
