A small snippet has appeared in the DNA paper of Today - 19th Dec, '10 on Page 4 for the upcoming WIAA - VCCCI Rally on 30th Jan , 2011.

Will be a good and cool time of the year to have the Rally. Gives us some ultimatum to wake up the beauties and get them ready for the event. :thumbs up
This sounds sooooooooooooooooooo familiar. Remember, almost all the rallies held in the coolest months of April and May were announced in..............wait for it..................JANUARY:D. Then what happened? Postponed time and again, and again and..... So wait a bit till you are sure that it is on, afterall many cars recently had been run and should be fit.
Somehow word or mails from the club did not get round to VCCCI members as yet.

agree:, Thats like a normal procedure for VCCCI now. Someone needs to hold a vintage car event without VCCCI's involvement and there almost immidiately a chain reaction of an event from VCCCI. Then what, a long wait till the peak heat of April or May arrives.
The snippet was just to inform everyone that you have 3-4 months to get your cars back in order and await further confirmations.

I called up the WIAA office and they have confirmed that the Rally is fixed on 30th Jan 2011 :thumbs up
So finally this year's VCCCI Rally (2011 Vintage Car & Motorcycle Fiesta) is confirmed on 30th January 2011. Hope we all will have another enjoyable & cheerful Sunday morning with all the vintage beauties.
