Alright, will make this quick. Recently sold the Scorp because:

1. The mileage per month dropped to less than 1000
2. The car was used strictly as a 2 seater for more than 99% of the time. Infact, immediate family used the middle bench probably about 5 times over 3 years.

Now, am in the market for a pre-worshipped petrol. For precisely the above reasons. But a few extra's am looking for:

1. Low mileage car (I mean I dont want a car which has done more than 30k kms)

2. Dont care if its a sedan or a hatch. It will be used as a two seater for the foreseeable future.

3. Needs to be super plush - the interiors HAVE to pamper.

4. FE/litre should be 10 or more. The 9's always end up becoming 7. Not fun.

5. Fun to drive element is really not a big deal for me, since I will predominantly be driving this car in the city and not on the highways.

I know petrol prices are rising by another 3 bucks in a month, so I'm hoping I should get better deals soon.

So what cars should I be looking at?

1 -> Linea TJet (+)
2 -> Fiesta S
3 -> SX4 (Interiors are not top notch, but good performing car)
4 -> Swift ZXi

I would recommend SX4 as its easier to maintain and cost of ownership of used cars is generally more.

I havent included Hyundai cars as I do not like them. (but they may be good options for you)

Also look for car leasing agencies that look to dispose of cars post 4-5 years. These cars are leased to corporates and are generally well maintained and have better interiors. Also, its easy to get service records as they are serviced at the same place.

1. The TJet's interesting...but I hardly seen any used examples around.

2. Fiesta S interiors are a generation old now.

3. SX4 - too plain jane.

4. The old Swift ZXI interiors are again a generation old.

Am looking for something thats better on the inside than the present generation scorpio by a couple of miles atleast.

The Jazz comes to mind.

Pre worshipped petrol hatch/sedan under 5L is the coolest and most interesting scenario to be in on team-bhp :D
Options which come to mind are the cedia sports, the dolphin Honda city vtec. I reckon a 2009 Honda city smt I-vtec might fit into your budget.

ANHC fits the bill,though interior quality is okay kinds,but still way better than a scorpio.A decent Honda Accord can also be looked at.
Sonata Embera also can be purchased for around 4.5L.
