You can consider the Vento TSI, falls perfectly in your budget.
You will get the best of performance and comfort (owing to the AT), the quality of materials used is very good inside out.
You will miss some of the fancy features like keyless entry, start-stop button, but the overall package is really good.

Also, if you are going to be driving this car alone most of the time, then even the Polo GT TSI is an amazing option, you will end up saving a couple of lakhs and still get the same performance and kit.

Hope this helps.

A very informative thread, but guess it would be better if the following updates are inlcuded in the opening posts.

Renault Scala AT has been discontinued (https://www.renault.co.in/vehicles/p...fications.html)

Scorpio AT is no longer available (http://www.mahindrascorpio.com/index...specifications), although the absence may be short lived.

Honda City section should include the link to 2017 facelift (http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/indian...lose-look.html (2017 Honda City Facelift : A Close Look))

Hyundai Verna section should include the link to 2015 facelift (http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/offici...al-review.html (2015 Hyundai Verna Facelift : Official Review))
