I found one product that doesnt exist in India -- its more of a wishlist; Just saw the Suzuki APV on suzuki's global website. Maruti should consider launching it here in India with the following specs :

1.3 ltr National didi tera dewar diwana engine ( ddis) or K series engine ( for petrol heads)
ABS, Airbags, Curtain airbags ( optional), EBD, anti roll bar, and launch it against the Xylo and Innova and remove the Versa from its product line. Will Maruti oblige -- time will tell

I think the i20 Asta-O is the safest car under 10 lakhs. Hopefully, Hyundai will offer a diesel i20 Asta-O which will make it more appealing to you. But they may not offer it with an automatic.

I second what Dose said....the i20 is a great option for you and there is a diesel one supposedly coming out next month (not sure about the automatic transmission)
