According to a media report, Honda is gearing up to launch an updated version of the CBR 650F in India this festive season. The bike is expected to feature minor design tweaks.

The 2017 Honda CBR 650F is expected to get new colours and LED headlights and an LED tail light. The refreshed CBR 650F is expected to be powered by a 649cc, in-line 4-cylinder engine with electronic fuel-injection that produces 88.5 BHP @ 11,000 rpm and 64 Nm @ 8,000 rpm. The engine is expected to be mated to a 6-speed transmission.

The CBR 650F will come with a 41 mm telescopic fork suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Stopping power will come from 320 mm dual discs with 2-piston calipers and a 240 mm disc with single-piston caliper at the front and rear respectively. The bike will ride on 120/70 ZR17 tyres in the front and 180/55 ZR17 tyres at the rear.

The CBR 650F was launched in India in August 2015.
