Congrats buddy. Hoping to see more facelifted i10 reviews here, and do update the FE figures. Very keen to know it from the new kappa2 vtvt engine.

Hi Dieselite, congrats on your new car.

In fact, I am considering the very same model to replace my wife's Santro AT. When I visited the dealer to check out the car, he could only show me Magna i10 MT. They didn't even know the latest features on the Asta since they haven't seen it themselves. They couldn't tell me whether the Asta has Height adjustable driver's seat as mentioned in the brochure.

The following are the differences between Asta and Magna, according to the website. Can you kindly confirm the items I have marked with a star?

1) Fog lamps
2) Foldable key with keyless entry *
3) Antilock Brakes
4) Dual Airbags
5) Reverse parking sensor *
6) Impact sensing auto door unlocking *
7) Electric sunroof
8) Ignition key reminder *
9) Battery saver *
10) Height adjustable driver's seat *
11) Tilt steering *
12) Seat belt pretensioners *
13) Bluetooth Connectivity *
14) Steering remote control

Hey Samurai,

All of the above are true except the fact that i have not yet managed to check the heated mirrors ! the rest all is true and delicious

And the FE figure for the first tank full is 9.5 kmpl ! Shockingly good figure for the first tank i think.

Also there dont seem to be any discounts on the i10 yet. but as said in an earlier post by Mpower expect some good options thrown in at Dussera and Diwali, maybe not on the ASTA AT since it is supposed to be made to order.

Baby got new footwear !!

Hey all,

I just upgraded the footwear of my new car. Moved to Conti sized 175/70 R13 with Plati alloys !

The ride is in a whole different league ! the shortcomings of the OE rubber are exposed more so now with the new soles !

Also got the RTO approved V Kool tints with 94% heat rejection on all windows ! And a Waxpol treatment !

The vinyl on the B Pillar is not well done and hope to replace it real soon with better fitting strips !

Hope you enjoy the images below !

I like the front of facelifted i10. Nice Alloys Dieselite! Just get a better looking number plate without dealer's name on it.

Bang on target those alloys are simply superb and nice choice of tyres too, now the i 10 looks Perfect. On other hand the blackening on the pillars job seems very unprofessional. Once it is done properly i 10 would look more charming
My small list of question
1.How does it feel to drive with new set of tyres (Comfort & Ride) ?
2.How much did these set of alloys and tyres costed you ?
3.Did you go for all 5 alloys or 4 ?

You've really selected very good looking alloys for your Hyundai i10. Yes, your car looks awesome with those alloys.

And, I do agree with meonbhp. Please get rid off those ugly stickers from the license plate.

Happy driving. Always wear your seat-belt.

Amith

Wow, now it really looks good. What is the PCD and the optimal offset for i10 alloys?

Congrats dieselite - better late than never I guess!
Missed your thread somwhow.
The nexgen i10 looks great in white - and you are doing justice to it by upgrading the wheels and rubber.
Get HSNP, or atleast lose the stickers on the license plate.
Happy mile crunching!!

Thank-you meonbhp , driving smartly , KlubClass and Samurai and Blackasta !

YES i am going to get rid of the dealer name rather get a new styled plate !!

@ driving smartly - i got 4 alloys since the 5th wasnt in stock, i might get it next week, its cost me Rs. 2800 per alloy and Rs. 1500 for each tyre (buy back of rs. 2000 on old tyres run for 350 km). Dude the ride and handling is now in a whole different league. i'm thrilled to bits !!

@samurai - i am sorry i really have no idea of the numbers.

@blackasta - i have been waiting to see you on this thread ! as you say better late than never !! my FE seems to be around 10 kmpl. I've clocked 400 km on the ODO !

I have actually started to like the i10 now. Wish I could have seen it in person once before I left though.

Suggestion: Don't use black vinyl strips only on B pillar, also use those on front & rear door edges and the area behind doors on B pillar.
Remove dealer name from number plate & apply white paint on screws used for number plate.

check these posts from i10 tyre & alloy upgrade thread, iraghava, kpzen.
I hope that Hyundai hasn't changed stock wheel specs during iRDE 1.1-- Kappa 1.2 -- Kappa2 VTVT transition.
