Re: Examm is back! 16th & 17th July, 2011

Whoa! This is what I call planning, planning to the very minute details. I can see a natural progression from last years event. Hope the event is executed equally well.

Spike

PS- Oh that first pic gives me jitters!

Re: Examm is back! 16th & 17th July, 2011

GREAT.!!! That's very detailed information on what to expect & how to go about it. Now it's time for the offroaders to get their machines ready.

So much to do and so less time remaining. Look forward to the start of the off-road season this year.

All the best and see you soon folks.

Tejas,
Congratulations!!! Great organizational skills of you men behind the scenes of AKC and EXAMM.
Great break down of the whole program, sheer professionalism!
I have my eyes set there this time, as last time I was Jeepless. Hope to get the LYNX ready in time.

Where is the photograph of the NON VEG food...please????

Need to see that too.
Regards,

Dear Arka,

Two cars go at a time against each other for a 50 meter mud drag strip/pit. Average time is 2 minute to complete it. Even if we take 10 minutes per couple of vehicles, we should be done in 4hours approximately since we are limiting the number of vehicles to 50. Thus, there will be 25 starts. Cars will get only one attempt.

The full classification and rules will be put up later on.

This part is still in the planning stage. If it doesn't materialize (99% it will happen), we will do an offroad session.

This is the concept we are planning:

@Tejas Hi Doc. Stunning attention to detail and superb planning. A lot of hard work must have gone into planning the EXAMM! 2011 and am sure it will be a thoroughly enjoyable event for all concerned.
I wanted to know if it is possible to not participate in the AKC and still participate in the EXAMM! 2011?

Regards, Janjua.

Dear Janjua,

Thanks for the compliments.

Yes, it is possible to just attend the EXAMM! 2011

However, having said that, even AKC is also a fun event and if you are traveling down all the way from chandigarh, i'd suggest you attend both events.

Re: Examm is back! 16th & 17th July, 2011

Great Work Tejas, Devang & Allan.

Very detailed posts and as Spikey mentioned, planning itself shows that this year's event will be miles ahead of last year. Look forward to get my truck and participate as much as I can.

I'm sure Fazal or DKG can coordinate on behalf of Hydera-baddie off-roaders.

Looking forward to the event.

Re: Examm is back! 16th & 17th July, 2011

One important question:

For those who don"t have their own vehicles and want to join,
How can we know if there is a seat available with someone?
As in, if anyone is willing to take us along

I need a seat

Good question.

This is what i suggest. Who ever wants to participate as a spectator, please put down your names here.

Drivers who have space in their vehicles for passengers and are willing to give a seat to to others, please inform us when you confirm your entry.

Once we have full data, we will inform the passengers which car they will be paired with on a first come first serve basis.

Passengers, you will have to help out the vehicle driver and follow his instructions.
