Hi fazal,

The climb in your last photo looks very challenging!!! Did most of the jeeps make it up this obstacle?? What gear was used for this, 1L or 2L?? I would love to do this obstacle next year if possible. Getting that much momentum with a slushy climb would be a great challenge.

That particular climb was one of the toughest of AKC. It looks so tame and doable in the photograph, but in reality it was so steep and one needed momentum and the very right technique to make it through.

About half of those who attempted it...did it, the rest had to be winched up this incline to an extent that this particular obstacle had to be closed for the same reason.

After requesting the spotters, Prasad at the starting point and Gogi Bhai at the top, who were kind enough to reopen it for me. I did it in one go, in 2L after accelerating from the starting point where the Jeep is in the first position (last pic. previous post) for want of momentum, then zigzagged my way up for traction, as I had noticed the earlier Jeeps were sliding back in due to the thick slush on a nearly 45 degree angle or over accelerating, resulting in wheel spin.

Hey Pulsar56 :- Your snaps has captured the real AKC terrain. I have been a observer on this thread. Off all the pics from other authors, I would rate yours to be the best. It really brings out the thrill you guys had on the D day.
