It sure was fun, inspite of being towed back to Prabhu's place. Hopefully, it would not be an expensive affair and I shall be back for the next OTR.

We do miss the official photographer in you.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Hydera - Baddies who made it such an enjoyable afternoon. Great camaraderie. And great handling of the recovery vehicle! (Thar rescuing the MM)

i followed this thread till Friday or saturday and when there was no update i thought the event must have got postponed. anyways photos reveal the kind of fun you all have had, So please finalize the next OTR, 3rd Sept is fine. No worries for me as the Ramzan will be over by then. Cheers.

Please post the pictures fast especially of the Gypsy recovery by me!

The agenda for 3rd is to have a wilderness trail interspersed with obstacles on the lines of MGE. Venue will be decided in a day or two. Please feel free to suggest location if you know any.

Oh yes we did have fun but this is just the start. Please stay hooked to this thread for upcoming adventures.

As regards to the Gypsy, water went inside the engine most likely from the breather. But Ardy with his quick thinking switched off the engine. Even though there were no tell-tale signs of water having seeped into the engine, we didn't start it as ECM was also drenched. The vehicle was towed to the workshop which saved it from massive damage.

But, till date, I have never driven a Jeep! Right now, I am happy photographing the events!

The route you suggested to us was based on the GC of Ravendra's Laura which was our ride then!
