Wow....fantastic pics Vinod, each drawing me closer to that THAR dream...! If only it had a bit more of creature comforts to convince my better half, who is standing in between THAR & me...! :-)

Thanks!! This time it was a reverse situation- total vehicle participated 50. No of 2wd's- 10, No of 4wd's- 40, No of THAR's - 35; other 4wd's - 5!!!

Was a treat to watch well prepared vehicles crossing slush pond and steep climbs. Was a tough track!!

Minimum creature comforts coming in THAR. Go for it. its not about comfort, its the whole experience!!

Awesome pics from my home town and even greater line up.
Dont see much of off-roading though, than mud splattering.
XUV 500 in its simple Avatar is looking out of place.

My fav is that OLDIE with tractor wheels.

@Fortuner: I witness lineups of 20-30 white Thars almost everyday, at Mahindra factory, next to my house here in Mumbai.

ariesonu- Where in Kandiveli (E) do you stay? We are neighbours. Believe me Chandigarh escape was more than just mud splattering. There was an ego buster climb (i dont have pics of this) where driving skills and tyres made a big difference! I could't clear it with worn out HT tyres on a THAR during recee. But Nikhil (organising team member) cleared in 6th attempt in our Bolero shod with Hankook radials! It was tough man!

Fortuner-White THAR Di is made in Kandiveli plant. Where as CRDe THAR's are made in Nasik plant. There is no white colour in CRDe except for export.

Dear Vinod - Your neighbour Sonu shares one more common hobby (with me). He has a classic 1955 model Fiat also! .

This Chandigarh thingy was completely about mud or what? Good fun I say! I am surely missing it all, well, that's life! .

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

Sir, why don't you take out one of those Defenders and join for the upcoming Pune Team-BHP meet? It will be fun and you will also get more ideas for your future offerings.

Or may be some mechanical prototype for testing.

Dear Vinod,
This one was a fun filled OTR, a good turnout, tons of mud and the Thar did well in wet conditions.

The RCL with tractor wheels was the most suited here I feel. How many winched out? at places it was a deep slushy mud.

The prize goes to the photographer. He did one of the best job ever seen, the action, angles and all are just too perfect.

Wish you more successful MGE's before summers set in.
Regards,
