Commander,

None now have the best three reasons to be there, than yourself .
Meeting the father of the Thar, the OTR and the above quoted.

Hope you are not taking offroading seriously? If so, then we novices had it.

Though not required, I vouch for this.

Mikon,

Too bad the principal photographer is out.

Wishing this event every success and hope to see photographs of the gala time there.

rajmachirampage - shyamalk

Cheers!
If you leave the slush aside, this looks like an awesome place! Very eager to get there... the streams crossings would be really fun in the rains, but I am guessing they'll be close to dry now.

I am only a bit concerned about the shrubbery taking my paint off... thinking of getting a leather jacket done for Samara. Anyone else knows of stuff like that? Will get something custom made for now, if I can find someone to do it for me. (That might be a good product to build! Anyone willing to invest in my venture? )

Don't the car/SUV experts speak about some protective paint coating that guards against just this sort of stuff? Some rubberized/silicone based stuff ...

I guess even the new side claddings of the Storme come with that.

Yes, I have heard about it too... apparently it's a good idea and it works. But Samara thinks it's like saying I can take a dive on the gravel because I am wearing sun tan lotion lol...

Re: Rajmachi Softroading Trip March 11th

Thanks to Off-road experts tejas & pdev for responding to my PMs and visiting this thread.
Would love to have you guys (and your team) on the 11th.
Some expert advise always comes in handy!

And yea, this one is going to be the taste of things to come, coz as soon as the wet season starts, its going to be a different ball game alltogether.

Once this one is through, we can organise a better track next time.

Thanks Satyen for the kind words. We all have started the same way from the beginning and I'm sure that you guys will enjoy the trail and many more to come. Offroading is a very addictive activity and this tribe will grow and grow! I'm no expert though in front of many other distinguished gents here.

I would have loved to join you'll but I'm in South Africa during that weekend. With the father of the thar, xtreme power, Satan, pdev, jay, etc being there, you'll are in safe hands.

And don't worry about being stuck because even if you do, we have never left a car behind no matter how bad.

Have fun and drive safe and don't oogle at the beautiful ladies and loose concentration!

Re: Rajmachi Softroading Trip March 11th

I would have loved to join to capture this, but have a wedding in family during those dates. I still recollect first OTR from pune, had lots of fun in those couple of hours.
