Re: SUV Trail Blazing - Chambal

Sudev,

Wish you the best.

Back in 90's I had driven in ravines of the infamous Chambal with a very well known family of Gwalior. The terrain was awesome and only the SWB's could barely manage it, the gradient has sudden and short drops over there.

Do you feel SUV's with an overhang and longer wheel base would manage it?
Unless you are talking about a flatter part of Chambal.
Regards,

Re: SUV Trail Blazing - Chambal

@all : Right now it seems the encounter with "dacoits" will have to wait as there are not enough participants. Every one is feeling its is too hot now to go out. Welcome summers. Still keeping fingers crossed if I get some confirmations by tomorrow.

@fazalaliadil : The ravines are awesome with bad drops but there are areas where tractors have been going up or down and so can be used by SUV's. Also the traverse along the river bed of Utaangan is challenging with slush / water wade and steep slopes. SUV friendly.
