Hello V-16, my son participated last year as a passenger with his friend and was pressurizing me to register for this year along with our Safari 4WD. Will a Safari make up this trail? What precautions should I take, modifications etc. ?

He tells me that rains played spoil sport last time which affected the event very much. Is the team for MCUBE same as last years EXAMM team barring a few names? I went through the EXAMM thread of last year, link- http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/4x4-ex...11-report.html and find most of the names familiar. Will there be another AKC EXAMM event after this?

Please suggest if I need to register with my ride to participate or just pay up and join with some of the rides mentioned above in the organizing committee. Seeing the obstacles of last year, I would prefer not to bring my Safari as I feel I will not be able to take it back in one piece.

Thanks for the interest. Love the spirit. Unfortunately a safari without MT tyres, stock bumpers and no lift kit would potentially get into a fairly damage prone situation for both participants and organizers. If you have friends with a jeep, gypsy, gurkha please see if you/your son can organize a ride as a passenger with the friends participating vehicle and then pay.
