Great off-roading, even greater pictures.

Having said that, you didn't specify the details, especially the location, as the presence of both 'DL' and 'MH' registered cars confuses me, about where did this slush fest take place.

An

question, how do the owners of the respective cars clean the 'trucks' or rather '4x4s', after such a slush fest because the task looks quite difficult ? Just kidding, I really enjoyed the pictures, waiting for more of them and the details.

Great stuff.
Always fun to be out in such weather, the overcast skies, cloud cover, rain and plenty of greenery all around.

There have been some isolated showers over the last three weeks but we are still awaiting some good rain here in Delhi / Gurgaon to have an off road trip in mud and slush this weekend.

Washing a car after this event is quite a pain for sure. But in India there are plenty of car wash centres who will do it.

I remember in Dubai way back in 2006 when we built a slush pool by calling in three tankers of water is a sandy / muddy place to hold our own artifical MUD FEST.

The wash centre guys simply refused to attend to those Jeep Wranglers and Prados! Many asked for triple the money, and there were guys helping the car wash operators themselves!

This was very much in Mumbai. I think Mumbai has all states registration plates in off road community. I have DL, there was a PB too. Prasads jonga is WB and many others.

As far as car wash is concern there are few people who doesn't clean their car for a day or two as they like the look of a dirty jeep/gypsy. Few like me who give it for a wash as soon as we step out. After looking at our jeeps the washing charges are twice of the normal cost.

Soumya and me went to Sawarsi the same day for a trail drive... It is ridiculously awesome!

Sawarsi is the best trail. I have been in touch with Doc to set some otr session in Sawarsi. I think locals are still creating issues there.

Great pictures of fantastic slush fest. I remember my off roadie friend (unfortunately not on tbhp, am trying to get him here) saying - you can go fast but i can go anywhere. probably stolen from some advertisement! It seems awesome when you think of it in the backdrop of this thread. Adrenaline rush is so high in the entire event it seems like.

Well deserved 5 stars for this thread! And thanks for sharing the experience. Looking forward to more pics. And any videos, please

I recognize that gypsy you are talking about. It actually is a fully rally prepped gypsy which has done a couple of raid de himalayas and desert storms. It has a 1.3L Swift GTi twin cam engine, the same which goes into the swift sport sold internationally. Belonged to a friend of mine, Rajwinder Bains. Off topic, but posting a pic of the same gypsy in action in Desert Storm 2011.

Or is it that the event happens that way?

The rear wheel is there in the space behind the cabin, so its not technically missing.
