Wow what a great drive it must have been.I am amazed all the cars are spick and span with not a speck of dust on them given the tons and tons of sand around.Even the tyres do not seem to gather any sand on the them.

That's true. Cars look like just out of showroom and remain that way. Even the tyres look brand new.

I went yet again last weekend and this time with GoPro. Haven't got time to upload my videos to youtube yet. Will do it soon, meanwhile here is the video of dune shaving by a fellow rider Swarup when he went on a desert ride few weeks back. Enjoy!

Thanks Tejas! I had read your thread earlier. It's very informative and gives all relevant details for getting formal training for desert driving. The person I am going with used to be a trainer himself and not just for 4X4 but even for dirt bikes. However now he goes just for fun every weekend.
