Indians are not allowed to visit Gilgit Baltistan. The KKH goes through this region. Travelling to China via Pakistan by road is going to remain a distant dream. On a similar note, you can't even enter China by road from India. I think there is an exception for truckers and the pilgrims visiting Kailash Mansarovar.
