Pirelli Scorpion ATR's - Availability as well as date of manufacturing is a question. I read few online reviews [mostly Australian] and they had 90% positive reviews for Bravo 771, not much about Scorpion ATR's. Prone to punctures and few side wall issues were reported, but, they were good on both, on road as well as off it.

Of course not price :) Shopkeeper has sold lots of Bravo 771 and is giving a heads up.

My friends fortuner has been running on scorpion atr and they are has been no issues as you mentioned above. No puncture problems, his fortuner daily runs on bad to no roads and tilll date there has been no issues. :)

Where exactly on the Faridabad road .anshuman?

Khoj this is opposite TERI. A small track leads off to left - when going towards Faridabad - after the second petrol bunk

Hi Anshuman

Kindly let me know the next time you are planning to meet. My Scorpio 4WD has stock Duellers, do you think these would do(apart from the vehicle's capabilities)? I'm a first timer to these events although I did tackle some really nasty terrains with these tyres while going to Kyun Tso and Marsimik la last year.

Hello Ironhide, I hope there will be a meet this Saturday or Sunday. The details will be updated here. Regarding Dueller HT, they will not be big issue as my Storme is running on them too. You can see videos on Anshuman's YouTube page.

The treads are completely different. The Storme with 16 inch wheels has different design pattern than the one on Scorpio with 17 inch wheels.

I agree, but they still don't make huge difference in dusty and dry tracks. They will be issue in wet and snowy tracks and may not help at all in extreme rocky ones. I am not an expert (in fact I am a novice) but saw a Scorpio and a Thar with Dueller HT tyres in last OTR meet. Following is the link to one of the videos.

Wherever one would require traction in low grip surface in an off-road situation, the Bridgestone found in 17 inch size [D684] would simply give up. The one with 16 inch [D689] won't, not that easily. Goodyear Wrangler AT has almost the same tread pattern as that found on Bridgestone 16 inch [D689], which says a lot.

I envy you guys with the small size :D [Same with the new Fortuner and old, just so many options with 17 inch wheels but almost nothing for 18 inch]

Had gone to my tire dealer few days back. Pirellis will come soon and Continental might be made available in 17 inch size for XUV/NG Scorpio wheels.

.anshuman has Pirelli Scorpion ATR on his XUV. If I remember correctly, the blue Scorpio in the Video also had the same tyre. Try other cities, if possible.

We have seen a lot of action in last few outings. Here are a few video screenshots from these outings:

Is there really no traction in the front wheels or the angle makes it look so? :Shockked:
