I had put event details a month in advance in T-bhp and there were hoardings, newspaper/TV channel articles and online promotion as well.

Spectators are more than welcome and there is no entry fee/pass etc....

Being Sunday visitors turned out in LARGE numbers also thanks to promotion through radio, TV, newspaper, hoardings and internet. We had to deploy additional guards and bouncers along with Marshals, local help at each SS. Extreme SS were specially overcrowded and after each vehicle we had to spend minutes to clear track, cordon off entire surroundings to ensure any untoward incidents do not happen. Thankfully we were able to manage the crowd but it’s a learning to setup SS in such a way that large number of visitors do not block entry/exit roads by parking their vehicles. Though we had crane on standby to remove blocking vehicles 😊

Extreme SS on day 3:

SS D: one of the shortest SS in extreme category had steepest inclines and declines. It started with two level STEEEEP decline which takes you inside the jungle from where you had to take right and cover marshy land and then again take right turn at an angle to reach the first level of incline and then take second level of incline at an angle to reach the top. Winches worked overtime to go down as well as come up

SS E: Very interesting SS inside deep jungle in and around a small dam, where you had to cross dam few times in zig zag pattern and then conquer a small hillock. It started from entry to dam wall in the middle, you need to take right to go down of one side of the dam in jungle, cross slush and then again come up to the top of dam wall and then again go down on the other side of dam wall and then again climb at the other side of dam wall to reach to an articulated incline at an angle, if you are able to cover it then cross dam parallelly through dense jungle filled with water and slush to reach finish line.

SS F: last SS for extreme category set up at one corner of the venue had long inclines and declines. Started with a steep decline at left angle to reach river which you need to cross to reach a point where there were two big cement pipes were placed. Using ladder, ground anchors you need to climb up those pipes and then get down using ladders to reach the starting point of steep incline. With full vehicle power and winch power you come back to starting point.

though closing time of all SS was 06:30 PM as collating scores from all SS takes at least an hour, but few SS were open till 08:00 PM. We were able to start prize distribution by 08:30 PM. Competitors who came back early to hotel had high tea and snacks served at prize distribution venue.

All in all, we were able to pull off another event without any major huddle and everyone went home happy.

I am not blaming anyone! It is just my bad luck...

I have been super busy and must have missed it on T-bhp. Is there some way I can get a direct message or reminder - say - on whatsapp or by email or by SMS? Just wondering....
