Thanks, I don't do anything different for night photography. Considering you have the same camera as me, this tip could be more useful to you. For a given shot, use aperture priority, use ISO100 and pick the F-stop based on your DOF needs. Most important point, use a sturdy tripod. Use the 2 second timer delay while shooting. Yes, it will be a long exposure of few seconds.
But there is a tricky part, exposure. Depending on the situation, you should know whether to use matrix, center weighted or spot metering. And you should also know how much exposure compensation to use. That comes only by practice. |
