Spoke to Shams and he assured no ethusiast will be turned away Should you wish to have lunch you would have to pay for it, but generally I don't think there should be any problem in us attending as spectators

OTR (off the road) happens literally every 3-4 weeks in Bangalore. One just happened this weekend. It was a night camping + OTR at pearl valley

I must congratulate you and your associates on a remarkle event organised. All the organisers obviously had taken a lot of pains to make this event a success. I'd like to add that the food was delicious too making the whole event thoroughly enjoyable.

I will upload a lot of pictures of the event and the fun had.

Thanks and looking forward to many more such events. I suggested a weekend camp at Vikharabad with Mr. Giridhar, hope that comes through

The Jeep Thrills event at Himayatsagar was a very well organised, funfilled day out for both participants and spectators.

There were more than 50 participants in 4x4's of many a make, shape, bodystyle and size. High bonnet, low bonnet, custom, original, hardtop, softtop, opentop, they were all there with their proud owners and families and friends.

The crowd was clearly upto some fun and enthusiastically cheered the participants. Sometimes it almost felt like the crowd's willpower had something to do with a few Jeeps that almost got stuck but managed to pull through.

Over all it was a great day out and it was a pleasure to see all the beauties put through the paces

Here are a few

The event was basically a 12 obstacle course of steep 60 degree inclines and drops, a slush bog and finally a wade through a waterhole!

Quite impressive that almost all the guys managed to go through with ease. A few struggled but eventually all made it through

To top it all two lady driver excelled through many an obstacle.

It was wonderful to see all that amazing machinery get used, after all what's a 4x4 unless you get into the grime!!!Hyderabad Off-Road Challenge - 16th March 08-img_0078.jpg

The organisers did a great job of making sure the event was a success.

A large tent was put up where a sumptous spread of delicious food was served and everything was on schedule with no delays or time wasted.

The crowd had young and old but the enthusiasm was the same regardless of age and almost infectious as everyone scurried all over the place not wanting to miss the fun

Overall, a big success and way to go!! Great job guys cheers:
