Yes buddy, in reality it's many many more times scarry than what it seems in the picture. And yes, we also do get jitters and fear. we are all human after all .

Yes, your truck is of no use here -- even with 4x4. the damage you will have to the body cladding will give you nightmares. off-roading is best done in jeeps/gypsies (as a reasonably low cost hobby/activity)

Off-roading is indeed scary, considering how poorly our vehicles protect the rider. The rock climbing driver needs nerves of steel to keep it steady and not end up twisting, which would surely end in rolling all the way down. I am yet to do this kind of difficult terrain, but I can feel the fear in the pit of my stomach.

Ok, since you all loved the jeep climbing the rock face, here is another set of 2 pictures where Giri did this rock climb in reverse.

There is a video also that I can't find right now.

Just so you get a picture, this climb is approx 100mts + with an approx 60% gradient

True which is why I asked Shahnawaz if its as nerve rattling as it appears in the pictures or in actuality a lot more comfortable to negotiate.

That said in extreme offroading you do have guys with nerves of steel, confidence in their abilities and a propensity to take higher risks, which explains why the world over you have some mindblowing action videos.

I know I neither have the ability nor the appetite to ever want to go that far. Am happy with my jungle trails and moderate offroading.
