@ DKG

Participants just couldn't help because of the nature of the terrain?
It was a muddy track with grass at some places.

It is Toyota Land Cruised BJ 40 Model 1982.
This is the best Bj40 in our club.
The performance is excellent.

Completely off-topic, and provoked entirely by MPower and you, did you know that the Lada is available, brand new, for the equivalent of Rs. 125,000.00 (right hand drive version)? I don't know how much duty is chargeable, but this is a medium-term project for me.

I can dream, can't I?

UAZs, unfortunately, are available only ex-UK, re-furbished, and I really don't think it's worth taking panga with Indian Customs about re-furbished vehicles.

Sorry, moderators. Mea maxima culpa, won't do this again today.

Beg to differ from your statement abhi. A Land Cruiser is NOT a JEEP.

From old to new, all the vehicles are superb.
BTW, that Mitsubishi Triton which is the winner, is it from Punjab? on its sides & rear of it , it's written " Punjab Motor Racing Club" .
That LC 40's are really best offroaders regarding Toyota's reliability & perfect wheelbase.

Wonder when Indian market will see those vehicles? Even though the Tata's own the LR marque, its not yet sure about their offerings in India, if any.
Same is the case happening with Toyota Fortuner.

Happy Offroading.
