Your Safari should be very happy with you for having shown it such nice places. Give it these snaps and it will brag to fellow Safari's with evidence.

After this we changed location. This was an easier track, navigable by car also with careful driving, but the views were nice
Wow guess what, i was at the same place yesterday morning driving on the same very rocks as you did! now i know why the little kids playing on the bank did not get excited by what i was doing there, cause they had seen u do it already. check out the pictures in the safari pictures sections. Coincidence or whatever, but i'm surely treading on ur tracks.

The only unprotected part is the transfer case, but its placed pretty high, so its relatively safe.
As for the rear diff jutting out, thats with all jeeps and gypsy too.

The transfer case is the most vulnerable part in a 4wd system. If it fails .. ALL fails.

Its so high up that if I encounter an obstacle which can touch it, I will have to literally blast through.

Getting underbody skid plates should eliminate this apprehension..

On the cold high road

Heavy snowfall, and the bull bar becomes a bulldozer. Even driving in a straight line is an effort!
Up in the cold mountains, the white elephant makes her own road.

Be it the river crossings

Or the grassy mountains

The real test comes when the roads vanish and mountains of snow greet you

Its time for 4L as the wheels spin, and try to get the meagre traction afforded by older ruts

Sometimes the road seems to be going nowhere

But where there is a will, there is a way

Come rain, come sun come snowfall, help is just located a switch away!

And when you yearn for the greens, what better way than to blend in?

thats all for now. After sand, rocks and riverbeds, the white elephant goes skiing too!

Tanveer, no words to describe your courage on taking the vehicle to such places.

If you had the picture of your crash guard taking out the snow and making road clear would be good.

@TSK : You've done what i guess most of the BHPians would like to do , and you undoubtedly have the lucky company of your life partner to do such thing.

I'm writing this cos my wife's there with me in allmy expeditions , ive done reaaal long trips on my alto and Spark but unfortunately cant do what you've done as i dont have a SUV.

If you get time then do check my travelogue. You rock man Cheers !!!!!
