You need to buy a 4x4, one tent and thats it .
ok dont worry i have a 4 member tent. you can take shelter in it .

IMPORTANT: Folks without 4x4, tents etc:

Am not being discouraging or anything but PLEASE:

• Hook up and finalize with whom you would traveling throughout the OTR terrain. We could realistically have a situation where we have more people than space in the 4x4's

• Where will you be sleeping if you don't have a tent? Even if someone offers you space in their tent, you would need 'sleeping bags' & 'sleeping mats'

• Either buy the above or rent these. For places to rent the tent, bags/mats etc, search other OTR threads. Not everything can be spoon fed.

If we all take the above into account, it will ensure a fun filled and tension free outing for all of us.

After the Ramanagara / Bidadi OTR, I think star_aqua will find a way to fix his tent on his Jeep.

With just 4 more days to go for this, what's the final count and who all coming and what all vehicles?

Also, folks with 4x4, do get hold of tow rope, jack, essential spares, tools etc.

I am just praying that the rain gods don't go away for the next 3 days. The rain should lash on till thursday evening and then stop -- so that we can have best of both worlds of OTR + Camping.

Other than standard tool kit / jack / jack handle, I will be bringing a 2 ton capacity hydraulic floor / trolley jack and a foot pump operated air compressor with built in gauge.

I so want to join this. But I would be back in blore on Thursday afternoon and then rush to work. And I would only get free time on Friday late night. So I am not really sure I will be able to buy the sleeping bag and the tent :(

I don't want to confirm now and then drop-off in the last minute. So Mr. Khan, any suggestion?

And star_aqua, is your baby full? Or do I have space if I confirm?

Tons of options:

• Ask your friends to procure it for you
• Call up adventure one /wildcraft store and say that you would come to their shop late Friday night and ask them to keep it open for you
• Hook up here on this thread with folks who will go buying/renting for this stuff.
• etc etc... When there is a will, there is a way.

And yes, remember: Jeepers make their own way...

Hrag, i called up these guys (Stellar) They want me to drop in to their office and give the advance . Let me ask Krishna, i think its near to his office.

After Soligere OTR, Starter relay gone, back bench seat is broken and the silencer is open. I need to get these things fixed before saturday. and also this week im stuck with the office work. if i cant get this done before saturday, then i may have to drop out .

forgot to mention one more damage in the Soligere OTR, the rear view mirror is also broken.
this is also one more important thing which i should get it fixed
