After reading threads like these and Tanveers experiences with his 4x4 in Rajasthan makes me regret my decision of not opting a 4x4 at the time of my purchase.

Sorry to resurrect this, but jute sacks to turn the vehicle around? You don't mean the sacks were laid out on the road, the gypsy driven over and parked on them and then you just pulled the sacks around in tandem like a turntable?

Now that would be a crazy, but an innovative way to take a U turn.
