Saturday and Sunday camping/otr

Ladies and gentlemen,
Guys here are some places I could come up with for the proposed trip:
1> Overnight camp @ Thippagondanahalli.
2> Overnight camp @ Dubguli ( Nice place and new to most guys )
3> Overnight camp @ Rangaswamy betta.
4> Overnight camp @ Mudumalai/Bandipur.
5> Overnight camp @ Solegiri.
6> Overnight camp @ Savandurga. (haven't been there.)
Please come up with more suggestions.
1>I would like to state here that I suggested Camping being the focal
event and the off roading a part of it.

2>Logically if we find a place to camp which is close to a water
source we should be fine.

3>Dubguli is downstream from Mekedath and is a nice place to camp at
this time of the year.

4> No offroading possible in national parks.Camping can be arranged in
the privately held lands adjoing the national parks which are further
away from in habitation and on the fringes of the park

5> Let us freeze on thursday evening as a cut off to decide on whether
to go or not. That would give those wanting to plan their individual
weekends time to do so too in the event of the plan not working.

6> The usual OTR guidelines of a max of 3 ppl/jeep,equipment to be carried for recovery and repairs apply.

7> And food and beverages will be planned based on participants number .

8> Detailed list to be prepared in final draft.

Cheers
Jammy

Good, my preference is

3>Dubguli is downstream from Mekedath and is a nice place to camp at

But I think I should wait for some jeepers to confirm first.

Atleast 2 Gypsy is out of question now.

I see a Safari & sree's 550 for the game.

How about Kittu, star_aqua, Sunil, siddarth, Mukund and others !!!

Jammy,
Wish I could be there! Wildlife sorrounds and Jeeps are ultimate high, envy you guys. All participants in this weekend getaway, remember when you all are there ..that "Fazal from Hyderabad too would give his arm to be with you in his 540, armed with his Canon and 400mm lens".
