There are good terrains around Gurgaon but not same amazing as what you guys enjoy. During the monsoons if one wants to indulge in a mud fest then my village is apt for it. Its 180 kms from Gurgaon and we have amazing trails that fill up and get totally slushy. We soil that we have is clayish and its just wonderful driving the jeeps in it.

Nearby we also have dunes if one wants to do some dune bashing.

Regards,

Randeep

Too bad that our great 4x4 OTR 'journalist' -- the great mjothicouldn't make it to the OTR else your wishes would have been answered by now. He would have kept the pics & reports flowing like a broken municipal tap .

@mjothi: how dare you miss an OTR and keep us all waiting for pics & reports. .

S@~+#0$# had my camera and has taken some pictures. I'm not swearing - that is his handle, his name is Santhosh. Will try and upload as soon as I get back to Bangalore.

Mjothi was sorely missed yesterday.

Shahnawaz and hrishi, guys the next time you have an OTR, please let me know, would love to be part of one...have had some experience at "off roading" but would love to do some backseat offroading as well.

Cheers

@mjothi: We missed you and you are very politely letting us know where we (the team-bhpians) stand in your food chain and who comes first.

He knows very well that I give this a higher priority and was insisting that I am going no where on that day.

"OTR keeps happening and I know you are going everytime, but my house warming happens only tomm and you are coming"

This one line made me accept his invitation.

Also, the whole of saturday I was with our guys to get the "new" jeep up and running in 4x4 for this OTR. So, there was a balance. Hehehe.

Seems like the American Jeep could not handle Indian terrain. Its being pulled around the trail by some jeep or the other.

What engine did the American Jeep have?
