It seems both the Cj3b's were 2wd. But cant blame the Jeep, it seemed that the soil just caved in and was taking the cj3b along with it.

Hey both the 3b's were 4wd. Only one MM540 with hard top had front axle failure. Almost every 4wd got stuck in that muck with no grip and soil as you said was soft.

The MM540 you are in love with is MM550 XDB with 2.5 litre engine, BA-10 5 speed gear box and has an A/c too. Truly it is the most sorted MM550 in our group. The owner isnt satisfied yet, and is going for a complete strip shorlty

The jonga stuck there had fuel supply problem, dicovered the pipe was bent, then it started and came out without assistance!! The jeep wagon was stuck so deep that we had to tow it out. The soil was so soft that even humans coulnot stand there!

Check out the tires on the CJ, that explains. Not to mention the weight of a full metal hard top.

After watching this vid one thing...use toww starps instead of ropes. They are much more durable as later pics have shown.

You are right 4x4 addict. The tyres were new JK 4x4 brute 185 section tyre. Believe me it failed to impress. I had seen these tyres on sand as well and they fail to inform. These are proper road tyres.
Having said that any jeep would have got stuck there as the ground was too soft and vehicle just rested on axles!!

P.S the vehicle is CJ500 D 4wd LWB hardtop with international engine. These were supplied to some goverment installations.

vinod_nookala, looks like you guys had fun ! Good pics and video!
Whose JONGA is that? It seems to be running smaller NDMS tyres than usual (6:00 X 16) ?

Did you take your 540 also?

This was a nice section requiring decent run up. Notice the jongas flung open and occupant jumping as jonga jumps! :-)
