Gilead, you are welcome to join us. We have introduced many people like you to OTR and have trained them. We will also make sure that you buy a 4wd soon

Hey, very nice pictures in there Vinod. Looks like the Chennai 4x4 gang is increasing in strength -- as I see quite a number of vehicles that I have not spotted before.

Any plans for an OTR on Sunday Nov 1st? I will be in Chennai from 28-31st for work and would extend my stay if there is any OTR happening on the 1st.

If I'm in town will definite plan an OTR for the last weekend.

NO WAY. I will be there on office work to attend a conference. Will either come by train or drive down in my car.

awesome!! chennai has some amazing jeeps. So I know where to head to when my Jeep comes by. I dunno if i really am very keen on an OTR with mine (whenever i get one).

But yes would love to hang out with you guys and i am not bad with the camera

Hi Guys,

The Chennai JEEPers are meeting up on the 15th November.

We will be practicing some Advanced off-road agility drills.
1) Climbing and Turning
2) Descending and Turning
3) Climbing Diagonal/Side-Slope

Sanjay David & Raghav will be sharing his experience of Taprobana 4x4 Challenge and putting us through some essential driving skills, necessary of competitive OTR Driving (Advanced OTR Driving Skills).

Itinerary. 15-11-09

1) Assembly Opposite IGNITE (on ECR) - 0630hrs and drive to the AdventureZone.
2) Pickup essential from AZ and head to the OTR Spot. (Palar River)
3) Start the OTR by 0900.
4) Finish by 1200hrs
5) Head to AZ for Lunch.
6) Finish Lunch and Drive back 1500hrs

We expect rains and lot of slush, please carry a change of clothes and rain gear.

No way am i getting wet in the rain..But it should be fun !!
