Guys, get the nylon tow rope available at 1st or 2nd lane beach!! It costs around 1000 bucks approx and get 2 D shackles too.

Much better and easier to carry than the metal cable!! Unless

The weather map in 'the hindu' looks scary.

The satellite image (from the CNN weather site) shows what seems to be a low-presssure area off the TN coast...so rain is possible during the weekend. And it is quite windy nowadays. Looks like wet/windy weather for the OTR on 13th.

Guys, please don't go offroading on the Palar when the river bed is turning into a river with heavy rains.
