Pics from My end

Once again a wonderful and eventful day !! Had a Ball of a time.

Vehicles getting stuck at different places, Running around. Subtle climate with not so much heat.

Met doc, propeller, petrol_head, fiery_enzyme, joshguy, 2themax, bluethunder, headers, neoranjit, vinod, abs, arjun and others(sorry if I had left out any of your names who had been there, bad memory).

Was absolute fun from morning to evening.

PS:

Vinod thanks for the trip that morning.
Special thanks to Major Roy for the drive back down from Camp to City.
And ofcourse to Arka for the invite and guiding me and my friends throughout the day. Count us in for the upcoming OTR's. Thanks again.

Wow ! Amazing pictures. Waiting for Ranjit to post some. I can see that he has been very busy taking a lot of pics and also heard that he is an excellent photographer !

@Vikram, I did not know you do off roading too ! Pardon my ignorance. Also, what is that Brown 'thingy' in the front . ( Bottom of radiator grille ) . what does it do ?

Thanks

Thanked: Once

Super Sunday It was for me, an absolute Noob to offroading.

Huge Thanks to the seniors like Arka, Vinod and Vikram for making us/me comfortable the whole day. It was a brilliant day of Jeeps, Gypsy’s, Leaf springs, Recovery, Winch, Traction, Recovery strap, Approach angle, Momentum, Digging, Torque, Low#, High# and lots of other terms which Iam still trying to get a grip. Thanks to Vinod for providing me lots of tips.

It was cool to meet a lot of Bhpians and did miss out getting to know a few more like abs, petrol head, F E, Ganesh, Blue Thunder etc., sorry mates! Too many things were happening around me. Let’s catch up next time around.

@Propeller: Though Fanta stole the show, I simply loved your Jeep Mate!. It brought back fond memories of my wild life trails in Sethumadai and VKPudur.
@Fanta dudes : Thanks for leading us upto the city, though the adventure did not end there !
@Joshguy : Thanks.
@Ali : for your awesome energy.
@Vinod : Have you fixed your alternator ? Pls.

OTR Photo's

First of all i thank Vinod for the ride.

I would say it was a Unforgetable OTR,though i may attend many in furture.

This is my first OTR (as a spectator only) and it was interesting to see the jeeps and terrains (especially the FANTA)

I also need to thank Arjun for the ride in his monster !

I learnt what is patience from Arka and the whole team. The jeeps were in trouble one after one but Arka never showed any sigh of fustration.

Hats of to your down to earth attitudes Arka,Vinod ,Headers,Dr Jones (sorry if i have left any names) and the whole senior BHPians.

You people were so helpful to the Newbies.

All the best to all Jeepers for the Nest OTR .

Karthik (propeller) and arjun you both are going to rock in the Next OTR

Now comes the pictures

Yes dude, the problem was with some fuse. Rectified it. All things are working fine. Need to go on a long drive to find its robustness.

Thanks to you and Joshguy for being there with me

That is a fabricated shield to protect the A/C condenser

Yeah we passed that scene shortly after that I guess. Was a mess. The headlights of the truck were still on. The Innova looked like an Indica. The damage on the front end of the truck made us realize how bad the impact would have been. May those departed souls rest in Peace
