What a blast you guys had! Beautiful!

@Rudra: wonderful snaps. You really need to get into a joint-venture with our 'reporter'!

The one with Kittu jeep is too good!

@Kittu: How are the back seats holding up? Was the rest of the day spend on cleaning it?

@Mjothi: Great narration, especially the dig at Khan's avatar. Thank God that you guys were not accused of carry off the mud from that place!

So, get going with the rest of the pic, please.

Excellent pics there and definitely the OTR community is on the rise with regular events on the calendar. Keep the pics coming and the pic of "Kittigadu's ride" splashing through the slush is just great.

Well, people were shouting at me saying 'stop' and Farha almost switched off my ignition . You may not have come close to toppling but from our view, that looked imminent.

The correct angle gives the best results.

True. Very seductive photography from rudra sir - would make any city slicker take up off-roading. I'm hooked!

Shahnawaz and Dwarka, it was great of you guys to organize such an event close to the city - it gave an 'on-roader' like me a chance to see off-roading upclose. Thanks once again! I've taken some pics and will put them up once rudra's treat is over.

Mr. Sen, The terrain was awesome and the pics clicked have to be the best pics i've seen of an OTR.

Job very very well done. Hope to see more pics from your end.

Cheers,

Randeep

one part wrong & one part 100% Right.

The terrain was a sort of disappointment for most of us and a let down. However we did manage to make the most out of it and have fun getting stuck at all possible times.

The pics by Rudra: 100% correct -- priceless.

Cheers,

You guys are lucky to have Rudra document your antics. Gorgeous pictures.

I think someone should start a offroad magazine now, what with all the Bangalore OTR's and now phenomenal pictures

Thanks for the treat Rudra, too many great shots to say I loved just one!

not at all , but i am not trying to take away any credit which is due... and if i do so the simple gentleman in the safari will not be courteous enough to bring the beers on the next otr

while all everybody was having fun and playing in the dirt and entertaining the local crowd, i spent my time answering the many questions the locals had and took part only in the recovery activity.

@Dwaraka: Great photos!

Combined with MJothi's earlier post, can imagine the action that has taken place! Thanks a tons for sharing.

@Siddartha,

You really should read the rules. 3 posts in 10 minutes! Buddy, if under 20 minutes, use the edit function. And for responding to multiple posts, use the multi-quote funtion.

'Dialogue of the Event' Award!!

This award will most definitely go to the gentleman in the hard-top gypsy (Siddartha?). This guy and his gypsy waddled in the mudpit stirred by Mr & Mrs KS for about 15-20 mins watched eagerly by the rest of the crowd. When he had tried it all and had decided that enough was enough, he leaned out of the window of the gypsy and delivered the clinching line in baritone - "OK GUYS WILL YOU STOP WATCHING AND PULL ME OUT OF HERE?!!". Ahhhh! A timeless classic. Wah! Wah! Applause everyone.
