I can nearly hear members going YAWN! as they see this thread again at the top of the forum. This sure is one event which has been milked dry with pics and reports. Anyway, at the risk of I'll try to sneak in my contribution in terms of pics and descriptions. I've left out a lot of redundant photos and kept only those which have been taken from a different perspective.

Statuotory warning: comments made with no offense intended, they're meant only for entertainment and for encouraging higher attendance at future events.

It's not Tata Safari capable than gypsy. It's how far you can push your 4WD. Tata's must be proud that their Safari is being given justice here in this forum and jeep_thrills and credit has to go to Hrag. What are others owning 4 WDs doing.

Each of the 4WD is capable in its own way. Actual comparison comes in when you test on all kinds of terrains. Tyres too play a major role. Not the least, the driver and his skills.

@Dwaraka: You are giving a politically correct answer that does no good to the readers if they want to have a laugh or spice up there morning (Now that the dung attack thread is closed).

Here is my total nonsensical part of the answer. In Sundays OTR:
  • The Safari pulled out the Gypsy
  • The Gypsy pulled out the jeep
  • The Gypsy pulled out 2 more Gypsies
  • The Ford Endevaour pulled out the Nissan Patrol
  • The Nissan Patrol pulled out the MM550
  • The MM540 pulled out the Cj3b
  • The Safari pulled out the Cj3b
  • The Scorpio pulled out the Safari (Does any one have pictures of this? I want to post this in safari vs scorpio thread )
So the award for the best 4x4 goes to the 'Scorpio' & 'Endevaour' for NOT getting pulled out anywhere

All the rest of the 4x4 are just 'show offs'. LoL.

Correction Here, Scorpio got pulled out by Nissan Patrol.

2 failed attempts of Gypsies pulling jeeps.

My gypsy pulling out Emanuel's gypsy king out of trench with main spring blade cut

It did not venture out at most places. Was parked safely at the sides 98% of the time. But yes, if you see in the above 2-3 pictures, it did quite well -- although it had to do lots and lots of circus to get itself out of this place.

Cheers,

Cheers,
people how can u say the endeavour is the best when it cleared only one bit , which i think any 4 wheel drive which the gypsyies and the mahindra cleared it with soo much ease.
