NIOC OTR - 21 Feb'08

Hi Everyone,

Well went for the second NIOC OTR today and the fun quotient just gets better each time.
It was a pleasure meeting Sarvinder Ji, RB Singh Ji, Romi Ji, Shaym Ji, Arjun, Sanjeev, Harjeev, Ankit, Amit, Aman, Yogesh, Shashank, Daman and Harsimran. Please forgive me if I've missed anyone.

I specially thank Arjun for the amazing breakfast and Lunch that he organized. The amazing food got us going all the way. Thank You Arjun.

Here are some pics of the OTR, could not click many while offroading as I was busy praising the superb off roading ability of the Safari 2.2 Dicor 4WD. Aman was really good with the vehicle even though it was his first OTR. Good job done Aman.

Yogesh, Amazing. You came all the way to Gurgaon from Jaipur at 3.30 AM just to attend the OTR, so that is comendable and look forward to a new thread from your side saying "Jeep rebuild - Yogesh".

Thanks everyone, It was just an amazing trip. Looking forward to the Chandigarh OTR.

Cheers !!!!!!!!!!!

the safari 4x4 is quite capable vehicle and folks who see if performing for the first time are always amazed by it's off-road capabilities. A set of good tyres & a little more GC is all it needs to take on any terrain.

Good Aman that you took your Safari out in the wilderness. I am sure you are excited to try out more challenging terrains now

True Khan Saab,

I never ever thought the Safari could go through such tuff terrain where even a few Jeeps were getting hic ups. The immense power which it had in 4WD Low is really really commendable. The soft suspension also added to its amazing offroading capabilities and not the mention the LSD, it was just crazy. Aman stuck to his decision that he wanted to actually see what the Safari was capable of and by the end of the OTR there were praises from one and all.

Cheers !!!!!!

I Agree Khan Sultan, The Safari was a surprise package. I never thought it will perform that well. Infact at a particular climb we all thought it will have to come back down but WOW!!! it went in so smooth..

Greta OTR we had. Amazing track. With loads of challenging climbs.

I can imagine all the fun fellow Bhpians had at the OTR.
I wish I was at Delhi this Saturday instead of the previous one.
