Regarding OTR on 1st there isnt anything on NIOC

Offroading being planned by NIOC for the month of March, As of now are

1. Chandhighar OTR (8th March) :- 11, 4x4s from Delhi NIOC going to Chandighar. - This is a combined OTR with the NIOC, Chandighar Chapter to Showcase a hardcore offroading to them. As Chandighar chapter of NIOC is new.

2. 11th March, (being Planned not final yet) Post Holi OTR.

Further details can be tracked on NIOC Yahoo Group.

hey harjeev........i didnt go to LOS......this trip was more for the "senior " crowd

.
stayed in delhi and watched ovr the cj......which is almost complete now.rear seat cover and roof tarpal are all thats left.
will bring it home on monday.

Too bad you couldnt go to LOAS but that a place better enjoyed... you get the message.

Anyways Your CJ3B is coming up great. I was in Mayapuri a couple of days back and recognized your jeep with the red painted engine head.

Will you be taking it to the chandigarh OTR now that the registration is complete and all??

no idea about the chandigarh OTR.plan actually depends on sanjeev uncle as he is a member of the NIOC and i am not.ill speak to them and see if they can take some more time off their schedule....which i doubt.
btw sanjeev uncle has sent his 550 for an overhaul as he felt that there was some noise coming out of the engine.so if none of his jeeps are ready then threres no chance.

It's not all that new. In fact they have had a few OTR's already.
I attended the inaugural OTR myself and can attest that some members
are not new to hardcore offroading.

Agreed Vaibhav,

Some of the guys are experienced offroaders there too. It is after all Punjab, the land of passion for Bullets and Jeeps.

But this is the 1st time the NCR guys are goign there to attend the OTR. Further the chandighar chapter started after November Great Escape with efforts of Mr.Gill &Vishal and guidance of RBjee.
