Wow, I don't recall seeing this place. Going by the position of the Sun, I think this happened after she took a diversion. She was right behind me and the Jeep I was driving ran out of diesel, thereby blocking people behind me. After 10 minutes of wait, she took a diversion.

Most of our Jeeps (10+ years) don't qualify for comprehensive insurance, we mostly have liability/third-party only. The newer ones have normal insurance, I doubt any Indian insurance company provides offroading insurance. We are on our own.

Yes Samurai. You are correct. She was waiting right behind us while pumping out some fuel from Sreeraj's Jeep. But she ran out of patient and reversed her Jeep and took the other way

Any how Great drive !!! Right side of the Jeep is almost touching the mud.

It was my first OTR driving my own Jeep and I am very happy about the way my LHD Willys CJ3B performed. There were lots of learnings and unlearnings for me. Appreciate the guidance that Samurai, Sreeraj, Mjothi, Jammy and others gave me.

Here are some pics that my friend(who accompanied me) clicked:

Giri's Classic attempting to climb the first obstacle

Mr.Srinivasan's Armada trying the same

4x4s lined up just before the first obstacle

This incline was the very first challenge on my very first OTR. It required the right balance of momentum, choosing correct lines, gearing and throttle to clear this. Although I had read that I was not to use the clutch, it was very difficult to get over not using the clutch inspite of repeated advice from experts. Finally, I cleared the incline in my fourth attempt and like Sreeraj has mentioned, in every attempt, I learnt something new

Tanzim got stuck in this spot and had to be pulled out. I have seen this B-Willys in two other OTRs and this was the first time I am seeing it getting stuck. A very nicely engineered/modified jeep, the problem was with lot of loose sand in the stream.

Same spot, this chap damaged his Scorpio by entering the stream at very high speeds. It looked to me like he had lost control and hence the speed, I hope I am right. Needless to say, the Scorpio got stuck badly and had to be pulled out by the Endeavour

I decide to take the watery path too and it was my turn to get stuck next. We got it unstuck by just moving the Jeep forwards and backwards. Thanks to the excellent advice and spotting by Mjothi, Sreeraj, Jungleboy and everyone there

Nice pictures Santosh and your Willy's is doing good, you would have learnt more on the OTR with this 1st OTR you have attended and in future you will clear obstacle in a single move.

Post more pictures and if possible videos

I have a slight confusion here, I was told the owner of Beetle was Raghavendra, I even met that guy when the Beetle got stuck.
