I'm eager to check on that ![]() Nitrous, hope all well at your end. Ravin, all set?, Our "chota bhai" is going to rock in his FZ16 with a elusive personal companion! |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() Lets have a cheerful weekend than having Nitrous and Bottle cry all day after losing the drag. Moreover, headers and his "driver" compete with men and not the boys. |

| ![]() Ranjit seems to be all revved up. ![]() Chinna Payyan (Sutta Kambi) still seems to be confused about who the 'elusive companion' is so kindly elaborate Vikram. So is this the final list? 1. petrol_head + 1 2. Nitrous 3. Headers + 2 4. Arka + 1 5. Hotrod + 1 [the elusive one] 6. Neoranjit 8. Bottle 7. Vijay_shekar +2 (only 24th) 8. Vinod_Nookala John, You are in right? Last edited by petrol_head : 22nd May 2009 at 10:51. |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Quick summary of Events Day1 Left Chennai noonish and arrived at Adventure Zone at around 2. After a quick lunch we left to the grounds for some parasailing. We had to wait our turn while some people from Ford who had booked ahead took their turns. Sadly the wind died after about 45 mins and the parasailing event was cancelled. The parasailing grounds had some sand pits and this led to an impromptu OTR Session immediately. This too was soon cut short after some really heavy showers landed upon us Returned back to the camp for snacks after which there was an unforgettable card game followed by a screening on the History of Jeeps (dating to WW2) Sorry couldn't remember the exact title. Day2 Returned back to the parasailing grounds for another OTR session. Were joined by a few other members from Jeep Thrills. This wound up at around 12 after which we got back to Adventure Zone and had a rappelling and rock climbing session on the rappell wall at Adventurezeone after which everyone wound up and returned to Chennai. A huge thanks to Arkha for setting this up and to Major Roy for his hospitality |

Thanks to Arka for conceptualizing and executing the plan. Great hospitality from Major Roy's end. I shall upload my share of photos tomorrow with a few finer details as always. @ Vikram - No, No, its not what you are thinking ![]() |

| ![]() Thanks Arka for introducing me to the world of OTR's and for letting me drive one of your jeeps for a Lap. Thanks also for navigating me. I enjoyed the sessions but not as much as I would have enjoyed taking my car to the places where your jeeps went. But obviously I had to chicken out because my " girl" was getting rubbed in all the wrong places and I could not take it. Now I can Realise what you meant when you said that experience is required to preserve man and "machine" in the TPC. Any way I shall keep attending your OTR's and once in a while try to do a Lap where my "girl" does not have to go thro the works. Last edited by vijay shekar : 24th May 2009 at 22:17. |

| ![]() @ Arka - Hey, what happened to those NDMS?? You back to these superslick sand(NO)grips? Between you mentioned that 7.50-16 NDMS would be soon available in some other thread. Any update on that. I too am running almost similarly worn out sandgrips on my 550. Hoping for those 7.50 NDMS. If not will have to invest elsewhere before this monsoon. cheers vishwas |
