season 08 http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/4x4-ex...ason-08-a.html

now its time to announce season 2009.

Trust me guys this time its going to be wild with some real mean machines. Mumbai and Pune gang has added some real monsters in the gang.

We did some offroad trips in dry and the latest was on last weekend but now its going to be pretty often.

I am posting few pictures of this years trip, I know these are not that great but good to start off with. so Have fun and watch this space.

Some details about the Vehicles.

the one on the ramp is a FJ Crusier with mhawk engine warn 24000 pound winch. this vehicle is mad.

The one in green is a 540 with customized paint job and treppdor wheels.

rest endy, h3 and range.. have fun and stick to this thread, lot more to come.

seasons greetings Pdev :-)
Let the pics roll in. The Fj looks smashing, must be one hell of an powerful beast! High end SUV's like range rover and H3 are welcome sight. Will be great to see them performing in this Jeep/Gypsy land. Green MM540 looks better now with a bikini top and small roll cage. What specs is this jeep running on ? What has been done to strengthen the steering assembly to carry suh heavy wheels? What is the diff ratio? 4.88 or 5.38?

Would welcome the engine bay pics of the Fj beast.

p.s- Dont u think the tyres of the Fj are a little over size considering the wheel arches especially rear is so small?

@desertfox.. i have used "Season" because monsoon is time when offroad is on peak for most of us.

@ Vinod, FJ is powerful its mad and you have noticed it right, tyers are little oversized.

No mods on Jeep apart from wheels and body line.

Range and H3 were good in dry. let see how good they are with rajmachi.

Best of luck for the season. I like the terrain, if i am that side will drop in.

What have they done with the FJ body. its definitely not the original body. Only the bonnet and fenders looks original.

seeing these pictures and even after personally examinig the fj i dont really think it really would perform well off road

but obstacles i dont really know
does not have any margin for articulation

except the FJ and the MM540, the rest of the 4x4s are not capable offroaders to match the performance of the FJ and 540!

you will have more damage to H3, Rangie and Ford is they are driven into Fj and 540 territory!

have fun guys and post those photos too!
