NIOC goes to Corbett Park

All the best guys and have fun! It has been raining for the past few days so i am sure you will have a great time!

I am stuck in the office.

Well, there is the 15th aug Monsoon offroad event to look forward to.

Iam a fan of your 6 pack abs...haha

. You guys had lot of fun even on the way to Corbet park. Till now it looks good as super On-road trip...iam sure there's much more off road too!

p.s- Good to see you guys maintain convoy kind of driving style. Driving in rain has its own charm

Hi,

Some more pics. Sorry but have not been able to segregate the pics therefore a few pics earlier were of us just chilling out after a long and tiring drive from Delhi. We were greeted with a shower and the pool looked amazing so could't resist it.

It was an outstation trip where a bit of offroading was also done.

More pics and lots to follow.

Here you will see Yogesh's Jeep stalled in the center of the river. The jeep on the first run crossed the river without any hic ups but on return the rocks under the water shifted, moving the Jeep off track. The hose attached to the airfilter got loose and dipped into the river, taking in water as if thirsty for ages. The vehicle stalled and we had to winch it out. Luckly no damage was done. Got the airfilter, oil filter cleaned. The injectors opened and water flushed out. Engine oil and diesel drained and new filled.

Yogesh was one lucky guy who had a very close shave.

Hey guys !!! super duper pics hai aap log ke.

How come most of you don`t have a snorkel. Like harjeev`s mm 540 and the red classic that got stuck on the way back in the midddle of the river. Don`t you think snorkel would have come handy in such depth.

Vinod it was great to be there specially in your own jeep. This time we at NIOC thought that we should visit this side at least 2 to 3 times in a year, you are most welcome to join next time.

Right Abbas, a snorkel would have made things happen, I didn't had any idea about that, I will soon get it done up now.

That was a life time experience. I selute the spirit of NIOC in helping us come out. Many who were relaxing in pool in the resort came within minutes into the river and started the rescue. It took two jeep to pull this one out. So cheers for NIOC.
