Confirmed the Munnar MGe plan, booked at the Munnar high range club, sent the DD to Mahindra. I am all set. However yet to hear from M&M. Hope the dates remain unchanged.

Last year it was big joke event we drove on tar road for about 40KM and 3-4 KM in offroading trail in 2WD. better confirm with Mahindra guys what terrain they are using. Thats why nobody is interested in Munnar OTR.

Pictures

The event was well organized and had a total of 35 participants.

These are the few pictures that I have, there have been numerous posts on the MGe previously and I guess it does not need a detailed writeup.

The event started off with breakfast and the organizers brief and safety instructions. All the vehicles were checked for alcohol and the bottles were taken and given back to the participants after the event.

The total route was for 60kms inclusive of the tarmac run. The first terrain was through a coffee plantation with medium slush and three steep inclines.
Another decline and then a total of 3 more inclines with a bit more slush.

The event ended off with lunch at Club Mahindra.

. There was mention of a CJ340 with NOS that made it for the Rajasthan MGe, does anyone know of the same.

Cheers,

It's the same terrain, only 35 jeeps last time it was more about 60+ I guess.

@Beejay- Did you enjoy the tarmac drive .

It was indeed a bit irritating. However I have no complaints, as I think it is a good initiative by Mahindra to do such events.
